Toastie with cashew butter, filet pieces and sun-dried tomatoes

Cooking time: 15 mins | 4 servings

Ingredients:

  • Oil to fry
  • 200 g of vegan pieces
  • 8 slices of white bread
  • 100 g cashew butter
  • About 16 cucumber slices
  • 1/3 jar of sun-dried tomatoes
  • Sea salt
  • Salt & peppar

Instructions:

  1. Fry the pieces on medium high heat until golden brown, salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Pour some oil in a ribbed pan if you have one, a normal one works as well. Make sure to spread the oil well. I used a pastry brush to spread it. Then fry the bread until all sides are done.
  3. Slice the cucumber and sun-dried tomatoes.
  4. Spread the cashew butter on 4 pieces of bread, add cucumber, the vegan pieces and sun-dried tomatoes, top with sea salt. Then add the two remaining pieces of bread on top and then you have yourself a toastie. Dig in!

Tip!

Add some tomato slices, juicy and delicious!
